I’ve been a New Mexico fan since the late 70’s when I first found my way to Santa Fe. The clean air, the star-filled night skies and the smell of piñon smoke I found irresistible. After almost 25 years of simply vacationing in this great State, my wife Kristine and left the comforts of our big city life in Chicago and headed to Ruidoso. It was 1998 when we first “discovered” Ruidoso about and hour south of Mountainair New Mexico. I remember driving through Central New Mexico with its incredible vistas and never ending scenic topography … I turned to Kristine and asked “How come we don’t live here?" Two years later we were living in the Land of Enchantment!

I brought a mixed bag of experience to New Mexcio having spent about ten years in commercial insurance and another ten years in PC software development and the then just developing Internet. Since moving to New Mexico in 2000, we’ve expanded our repertoire of business experience even further owning lodges, flooring stores, and commercial rental space and vacation homes and fixing up quite a properties along the way.

I’m still involved with technology as a partner in GoWest Marketing ... a web-related technology services firm here in Ruidoso. The experience and learning I gather there is used regularly to serve our clients at White Mountain Realty which we opened in 2002. My passions … hiking with my wife and two labs, playing bass in local Ruidoso Blues Band … “Blues D’Ville”, new technologies, buying and selling properties, helping others do the same and just living in the high country!
